Cabergoline (Dostinex)

Dopamine D2 agonist. FDA-approved for hyperprolactinaemia. Used to control prolactin elevation on 19-nor compounds (Deca, Tren) and certain GHRPs. Long half-life — 0.5 mg twice weekly is standard.

Side effects and watch-outs

  • Nausea (take at night with food)
  • Dizziness/orthostatic hypotension (stand slowly)
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • ⚠️ Compulsive behaviours at high doses (gambling, hypersexuality — rare but reported)
  • Cardiac valve thickening with very high chronic doses (Parkinson's doses — much higher than AAS protocol doses)
  • Avoid alcohol — significantly enhances hypotensive effect
