Cagrilintide

Long-acting amylin analogue (once-weekly). Slows gastric emptying, reduces appetite via hypothalamic pathways, and reduces caloric intake. Phase 3 trials in combination with semaglutide (CagriSema). Amylin pathway is complementary to GLP-1 — combination shows superior weight loss vs either alone.
