Ancillary / Aromatase Inhibitor
Exemestane (Aromasin)
Steroidal, irreversible ('suicidal') AI — permanently deactivates aromatase molecules. No oestrogen rebound on discontinuation. Does NOT negatively interact with Tamoxifen (unlike Anastrozole). Preferred AI by many experienced users.
