Magnesium Glycinate
Highly bioavailable magnesium form. Deficiency extremely common and linked to muscle cramps, poor sleep, cardiovascular disease, and low testosterone. Glycinate form causes less GI upset than oxide or citrate forms.

Side effects and watch-outs
- Diarrhoea at high doses (less than oxide form)
- Drowsiness (beneficial when taken at bedtime)
- Nausea
- Rare: hypermagnesaemia in kidney disease — caution with renal impairment
- Generally very safe and often deficient in most diets
